Arrive to Bari / Brindisi Airports

Your Guide will meet you at the airport, and take you to the Hotel in Lecce. Check in, Relax and overnight.

Historical Lecce tour with Church of Santa Croce

The old town in Lecce is considered the Best Baroque style architecture full of Churches, Cathedrals and Christian Historical signatures, all around. When we enter the walled town, the tour will start by visiting the Church of Santa Croce, a jewel of Lecce Baroque. The church is famous for its ornamental richness, rose shaped windows, and rich repertoire of Images, reminisces the Triumph of Christianity. You will be amazed by the abundance of the facade in which figures of men and beasts contrast celestial figures such as angels and saints.Then, we will explore the Piazza Sant'Oronzo, which was the market square of the old town. Small shops, locals selling their handmade products, and coffee shops will take you to the medieval times. With a short walk, Baroque palaces and the Church of Sant'Irene, will be our next stop. While you are in Bari, Caffe Lecce is a must to try, we are sure you will ask to learn how to make it, to carry on drinking at home. Pasticciotto Cake and coffee will be our elevensees before we visit the Piazza Duomo, one of the most renowned squares in the region that houses the archbishop's residence, the seminary, the bell tower and the cathedral. Light lunch will be followed with some free time in this magnificent town in South Italy. While walking around the old town, you can see a great Statue of St. Paul built by the people of Lecce, who ordained the first bishop of Lecce, St Orontius. Our day will finish at the Porta Napoli, great Gate.Dinner will be at a local restaurant in town with quality food and nice views of monuments.

Alberobello - St. Antony's Church – Olive Farm – Matera

After Breakfast we will check out from our hotel and drive through Alberobello. This unique structure of Italy is the only one you can see,a very interesting design, UNESCO Heritage. Thev whole town houses are made as trulli’s and we will have a chance to visit the inside of some of them. St. Antony”s Church is the main church of the town since 1885, and Its the main Christian spot as during the 26th and the 27th of September during the celebration of the Saint's city holiday, it hosts a large crowd of pilgrims from the nearby towns, as tradition claims, they travel the entire route by foot. After we visit this beautiful church, we will walk around the city, free time for shopping and lunch before we visit St. Antony's Church, which is the only church in Italy which has the design of trulli. The building is at the southern part of the city and build just after the first world war. On the way to Historical Matera city, we will visit an olive farm and learn about the whole process of olive and olive oil from its experts. Rock Church “St. Lucia” & The Sassi museums of Casa Grotta di Vico Solitario

We will have our early breakfast before starting the visit of Matera, with a history of continuous occupation dating back to the Palaeolitic (10th millennium BC), and the third inhabited city after Aleppo and Jerico. Matera is known for its rock-cut urban core of Sassi. We will have a visit to Matera Cathedral mid. 13th. Century building dedicated to Santa Maria della Bruna which was blessed by Saint Peter and Saint Paul. This Apulian Romanesque architecture host many frescos and religious relics that are unique with Assisi style. Free time for visiting the old town, as well as lunch break will follow the visit of rock churches of St. Lucia alle Malve, with 13th-century frescoes as well as the brilliantly designed and protected Rock house with its special winery. Our tour will finish by visiting the Great Museum of Matera which used to be a 13th. Century Cathedral. Dinner at a Cave restaurant with special local food and drinks. Overnight at our hotel, in town.

Parco della Murgia trekking, Altamura village and bread making, Bari

After Breakfast, we will immerse ourselves in the lunar landscape of the Park having astonishing views of the town and visiting the caves and the ancient cave churches. Then we will reach the world famous city of Bread, Altamura, learning the recipes and tasting genuine local products. We reach Bari for dinner, hotel accommodation and overnight.

Free Day to Relax or Cave visit by Boat at Bari

Today after breakfast, you have a choice to have a rest, or walk through the town & shopping, Or you can join us to the harbour of Bari to take our boat for our cave visit. You will take in the wonderful and breathtaking scenery of Polignano a Mare on board a fully-equipped boat. You will have a chance to experience the day, full of activities and caves along the coast. Our guide will give us lots of History about the area as well. Afternoon will be free time around Bari city. Overnight at the hotel in Bari. (Optional Tour - 20 Euro. PP)

Bari City – Santa Claus Church and the old Town

Today, after breakfast, we will visit the religious centre uniting the East and West, Bari. From the Bronze age up to the modern Italian republic, Bari played an important role in many fields. We will start our day with a visit to the Basilica of San Nicola, one of the most striking and significant religious buildings in Italy, also we know him from our history as Father Christmas. Then, we will have an exiting walk at the narrow streets of Bari, visiting more churches, locals shops until we reach the famous, Pasta street of Bari. You will have a chance to see, while in the making, the special Apulianorecchiette pasta. This will be a great show before we have free time for visiting this great city and have a chance for late lunch. Dinner at the town with local dishes and accommodation at our hotel.
